AARON GREENE JOINS IMBBA HALL OF FAME

On Saturday October 21st 2006 the first members of the International Master Bike Builders Association were inducted into the IMBBA Hall of Fame. The first custom bike builders to be inducted were, Aaron Greene, Arlen Ness, Dave Perewitz, Eddie Trotta, The Indian Larry Legacy, and Matt Hotch. The Association worked very closely with the Daytona Speedway and put together a beautiful master bike builder display in the in-field of the Daytona Speedway. There was a great turn out from the general public as well as most of the top names in custom bike building were there to pay their respects to the builders that were being honored. After all of the inductions were done Jeff Starke, the founder of the IMBBA had a meeting to show off the blue prints for the Hall of Fame and Museum that is going to built in Daytona next year.We are all very excited about the International Master Bike Builders Hall of Fame and Museum. We are also very proud of our company owner and founder Aaron Greene for making Paramount Custom Cycles one of the most innovative lines of bikes on the market today.

AARON GREENE INDUCTED TO IMBBA HALL OF FAME, HONORED IN DAYTONA

On July 6th, 2006 Aaron was unanimously nominated and inducted into the International Master Bike Builders Association's Hall of Fame. This is a very elite group of bike builders that take this certification very seriously. It is considered a great honor to be a member of this association. This is THE ONLY association that has the power to certify someone as a master bike builder. They have developed a certification process to determine what it takes to become a master bike builder.Over the last ten years Aaron has mastered all of the different aspects of producing a totally custom motorcycle, and is finally being recognized by his piers for his efforts and his talents. There will be an announcement and induction ceremony during BIKETOBER FEST in Daytona Beach Florida on October 21st. NASCAR has given the Association the infield of the DAYTONA SPEEDWAY for this huge event.

TO STURGIS AND BACK

It started out as a simple plan, take five guys, put them on five different models of Paramount Custom Cycles production custom motorcycles, load them full of camping gear and head for Sturgis five days early. Little did we know that by the time we got to Sturgis on Saturday night that we would have ridden almost 1,900 miles, through the better part of seven states and visited two national parks. The best parts of the whole trip were not the great roads, or the fabulous scenery, it was the people we got to meet. >From Bend Oregon where we found a nice little shop, Attitude Customs owned by Rick Pratt, he helped us out with a starter and a replacement sweatshirt. He would not let us pay for anything. From there we found ourselves headed East on Hwy 20. What a great road, I wanted to go back and ride it again. We found the little town of Mitchell Oregon, these great folks fed us and offered up their city park for us to camp in, and then fed us again in the morning. Beware, their short stack of pancakes will feed two or maybe three people, and the side of ham is really a side of ham. Make sure you say hi to Henry the towns pet bear. We passed through Boise Idaho, and headed North East on Hwy 21 following the Salmon River. Another great riding road with nice easy sweeper corners and perfect pavement. Just outside of Salmon Idaho, and just before dark we found out how over loaded Aaron’s bike was when he hit a pot hole and his entire pack rack broke off and scattered stuff all over the hiway. This is where we met the GREATEST FAMILY IN IDAHO. Luke, Artie and Tauny. Luke hauled Aaron’s pack into town, arranged for the only diner in town to stay open late to feed us, and he called his dad Artie to see if we could camp in his yard. By the time we got to Artie’s place it was almost midnight. We rode down a twisty little dirt road and across this bridge and there was Artie waving us in with a flash light, saying park where you want. He had a huge fire going, coolers full of beer and he wanted know if we were hungry. The front yard was like a park, a big open grassy area to camp on, beautiful pine and oak trees, and even horse shoe pits. It was pretty cool, Mark and I playing horse shoes at 2:00am in the middle of Gods Country. The next morning Artie gave Aaron full access to his shop for repairs and Artie’s beautiful wife Tauny made us farm fresh eggs and Elk sausage for breakfast. WOW!! By the time we got everything packed up and said our goodbyes it was about noon, next stop Butte Montana. By the time we got to Butte it was almost dark and we needed a place to stay. According to one motel manager there were no rooms available for over 100 miles. We went across the street to the Super 8 and met Susan, she agreed that there no regular rooms available for miles, but she had a special room that she would rent us for the night. The pool/spa room! We ended up with the coolest room in town, swimming pool, hot tub and showers and a continental breakfast waiting for us when we got up in the morning. We kept heading East through Bozeman and on to Billings where I caught one of the best sunsets any of us have ever seen. The rest of the trip went pretty smooth and very fast, we covered over 470 miles on our last day, we pulled into the compound in Sturgis about 8:30 pm Saturday night. Once we hit Sturgis it was “Game On”, everyday was a different media event or special function. Filming TV shows, doing Magazine interviews, autograph sessions, the works. They say, what happens in Sturgis stays in Sturgis. So I won’t go into all of the details from that part of the trip, but you can be sure that there was a fun time had by the P.C.C. 2006 Sturgis Race Team. Check out the Photo Gallery for loads of pics!
